Swawky the Seagull: The Seagull Who Couldn’t Squawk.

imageSwawky, the seagull was the runt of his family.  Swawky was unable to squawk. As his brothers and sisters grew and were able to squawk louder and louder, Swawky, became more distant and quiet. Seagulls, don’t share their food (especially Cheetos) so, Swawky, did the only thing he knew he could do to survive.

Swawky, took to the beach. And when all the people came he would walk up to each and every blanket and just stare.  The little people were so generous with their Cheerios and Cheetos. Some people even brought bread and seed.

One day one little girl yelled, “mom how come this seagill can’t swawking.” And her mom replied, “I don’t know honey, but everyone appreciates that Swawky isn’t squawking at us.”

Swawky was so happy that the people appreciated him it was the first time he felt loved his whole life.  He spent his life on the Indiana Dune Shoreline sharing visiting his friends blanket to blanket.
